Privacy Policy

Lumendrop is built by Carbide Coding LLC ("we"). This policy explains what information the Lumendrop apps and website collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. We keep it short because we collect very little.
What we never collect
Your screen content. When you cast, the video and audio travel directly between your own devices on your local network. What you cast is never sent to Lumendrop, Carbide Coding, or any server we operate. We can't see it.
What we do collect
- Account email — to create your account, sign you in, and email you a sign-in code.
- Device identifier and platform — a per-device ID (not your MAC address) and its operating system, so we can license the devices on your subscription.
- Subscription status — whether your subscription is active and which devices it covers. Payments are handled by Stripe; we never receive or store your card number.
- Basic diagnostics — limited, non-identifying error and reliability data to keep the apps working.
How we use it
Only to run the service: to authenticate you, manage your subscription and licensed devices, provide support, and keep the apps reliable. We do not sell your information or use it for advertising.
Who processes data for us
- Supabase — account authentication and our database.
- Stripe — subscription payments. Stripe's handling of your payment details is governed by Stripe's own privacy policy.
Retention
We keep account and device records while your account is active, and retain your device history so you can re-license a device after a reinstall or move it to a new one. You can ask us to delete your account at any time.
Your rights
You can access, correct, or delete your personal information by emailing privacy@lumendrop.app. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or CCPA.
Children
Lumendrop is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If we change this policy we'll update this page and the date above.
